Danny Outlaw from Psdtuts.com, has put this wonderful collection together of 40 different tutorials which create ‘Dark and Futuristic’ effects.

These include tutorials on text effects, photo manipulation and brush effects.

Every tutorial is very well explained, easy to pick up - for beginner or expert.

This is a pretty good quiz, many pictures you’d think we’re photo-shopped aren’t. It’s a good way of testing your eye for photo-shopped pictures.

Ah, more magical things to come Cozalli?

YES.

Okay, well with the ‘Brushes’ post now up, the next will be ‘Fonts’, etc. Between these we will be updating with some new tutorials. Non web 2.0 based; finished that era.

Although we haven’t posted much in a while, we are busy tweaking the website here and there and thinking of new features, ( Giant web 2.0 thought bubbles everywhere)

Also, we are in the process of accepting affiliates, we will make a space on the side bar ( look right ) and will be accepting applications shortly, as well as emailing other websites.

Small update on what to expect and what is happening.

This blog’s first post Welcome, here’s some links; Is getting old and dusty, it’s time for a change.

The blog itself has developed greatly and so will this post, we plan to create several posts based upon the idea of our first, categorys of links (fonts, brushes, patterns, etc.) however we will go into more detail, test the site for usability provide screenshots of the website and examples of the content. This way you can be sure which website you should choose. Hopefully this will help people more as the posts will be a lot clearer and go into detail about what is provided.

We’ve used this website many times in the past, laughing at the funny images, amazed at the immense skill of the users and even used some of the tutorials they offer.

The website is www.worth1000.com, it’s a Photoshop contest website, where you submit images created based upon a certain themes or company’s names and website and compete against other users or specific users in a head to head (H2H) contest.

Worth1000 offers cash prizes for the best images posted in the competitions and there are contests for all Photoshop users good or bad, expert or beginner.

Even if you haven’t started using Photoshop yet, this site can still offer something to you with excellent tutorials, well explained with clear instructions and diagrams.

We’ve changed the way we’re using the blog, we’ve changed the way we upload images for tutorials; they now link back to the blog, this will stop people who use our tutorials ’stealing’ our traffic.

Also we’ve added quite a few plugins from wordpress, these updates should increase the functionality and usability of our website.

We include several shortcuts in our tutorials but it’s always handy to get used to using them and know them ‘off by heart’.

morris-photographics.com have put a collection together of all the keyboard shortcuts for all the different versions of photoshop; from Adobe Photoshop 5 all the way to CS3.

They are available in .pdf files and show the shortcuts for both mac and window’s versions of the program, there are some pictures of shortcut lists on the internet, but this is the best source as they are all in full and easy to read/access.
